It all started in a garage in 1967…
The air-log success story

… and since then our company has grown fast and we are expanding constantly. We only just moved into our new location at Steinkamp, Oldenburg, Germany, with plenty of space and the latest technology. That way we are prepared for the future and can continue offering the latest pneumatic tube system that comply with modern developments.

We celebrate our 10th Air-Log company anniversary and planted a tree together.

Next Location

Air-Log continues to grow and now has a branch in England.

Air-Log UK is located very central in Nottingham and is represented by our long-term partner and UK managing director, Steve Matthews.

Pneumatic tube systems - Air-Log

A new location.

Air-Log continues to grow and needs more space. A new, larger office with modern equipment is purpose built in Steinkamp in Oldenburg..

A new start.

Air-Log International GmbH is founded: Jens Ewertowski assumes his role as Managing Director of the new company. Since then, Air-Log has been family-run and privately owned, operates internationally and has established production facilities in Oldenburg.

Going separate ways.

Due to some disagreement regarding strategic positioning of the company, Jens Ewertowski resigns from his duties at the Swisslog Group, respectively the Healthcare Solutions Division.

Merging companies.

The previously by Jens Ewertowski founded and managed companies are merged into the new company Swisslog Rohrpostsysteme GmbH (Pneumatic tube systems), located in Westerstede, Germany. Until 2011 he successfully manages and expands the company.

Takeover.

Hermann Ewertowski leaves the company to begin his well-deserved retirement. Selling company shares to the Swisslog Group necessitated finding a successor and his son, Jens Ewertowski, took over.

Like father, like son.

Jens Ewertowski follows his father’s path and founds Aircotronic Gmbh in Langenhagen and Hamburg, Germany, Aircotonic Ltd. In Nottingham, England and Delta Com Rohrpostanlagen GmbH (pneumatic tube systems) in Oldenburg, Germany.

The story continues in Westerstede, Germany.

Rohposttechnik GmbH (Pneumatic tube systems) is founded in Westerstede, Germany, with Hermann Ewertowski as managing director.

How it all begins.

Many successful companies started in a garage. And this is how Hermann Ewertowski starts his company selling pneumatic tube systems as well. He manages his company for a successful ten years.
